Diversity Fly-In Programs at US Universities
Many colleges and universities across the country have created free fly-in programming for underrepresented and diverse prospective students. These programs range in length and focus, but all of them give students free airfare and lodging, so they can actually visit schools on their list when it seems financially untenable. Fly-ins also focus on prospective students who are first generation college students and may need extra support with the process. However, remember that most of these programs do generally require students to submit an application to participate, so many sure you know when you have to submit your materials and what you need!
