Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Charlotte prepared herself for the SATs and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Literature from Harvard University in 2015. While at Harvard, Charlotte sang with Harvard College Opera and the University Choir; was a Business Director for Harvard Model United Nations; and received scholarships such as the Franklin D Roosevelt Global Fellowship, the Harold Bolitho Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Australian Studies, and the Seven Sisters College Conference Book Award for essay writing. Now a professional opera singer, director, and producer, Charlotte has worked at the National Opera Center, the American Repertory Theater, and the West End’s Peacock Theatre and recorded for BBC1, Radio 2 and Radio 4. She is the founder and Artistic Director of New Voices Theatre, a company dedicated to performing theatrical works by women for which she recently reached the finals of the Kickstart Entrepreneurship Award and the Scottish Converge Creative Challenge semi-finals in recognition of her impact on gender equality. Charlotte has been with A-List since 2016: specialising in critical reading and writing, she is equally well-suited to guiding them through the quantitative challenges of the ACT and SAT. Regularly coaching students through the Maths, History, Latin and Literature Subject Tests, Charlotte wrote A-List’s Guide to the Literature Subject Test, which she hopes will inspire and instruct students to conquer this subject test. In 2019, Charlotte joined A List’s Senior Academic Team with whom she manages our excellent tutor cohort.

A-List’s tutors are excellent. The A-List Book of Knowledge textbook helped IMMENSELY, and condensed all the topics in very understandable ways. The college counsellors have many years of expertise in the field, and can help you find a range of schools that are tailored to your requirements. I would recommend getting assistance from A-List to anyone who wants to study in the USA.
